Meet Ronnie Murchinson-Rivera
A dedicated public servant with years of experience in EMS, law enforcement, education, and community leadership, now running to represent Florida’s 6th Congressional District. Born and raised in New York City and proudly calling Florida home since 2017, Ronnie has built his life around service, integrity, and a passion for justice and affordability.

From his time working in emergency medical services to his career in law enforcement, Ronnie has always been on the front lines for his community. Those experiences shaped his understanding of the challenges families face every day—from rising costs and limited access to healthcare to housing that too many can no longer afford.
Ronnie knows that behind every statistic is a real person, a real family, and a real story that deserves to be heard.
Built on Community & Education
Ronnie was elected to the District Education Council (School Board) in New York City and as a Vice-President of the Parent Teacher Association. He also spent his time volunteering as a Music (Glee) teacher and started a Non-Profit that helped the needs of the community with things such as food, clothing, Christmas toys, and public services.

Ronnie is committed to building an economy that works for everyone—not just the wealthy few. He believes hard work should be rewarded with fair wages, that families should not be priced out of their homes, and that seniors should never have to choose between groceries or filling a prescription. Affordable housing is a cornerstone of his vision, ensuring that working families, seniors, and young people have the stability they need to thrive.
Healthcare is also at the heart of Ronnie’s fight. He is determined to protect and strengthen Medicare and Medicaid because he believes no senior, child, or working family should be left without the care they need. To Ronnie, healthcare is not a privilege—it is a right that must be defended.
Above all, Ronnie’s campaign is about people. He has seen how broken systems and failed leadership have left too many behind, and he is running for Congress to change that. With real-world experience, a proven record of service, and a deep commitment to justice, Ronnie will fight every day to ensure the voices of Florida’s 6th District are heard in Washington.
